Using our K'Nex pieces and various types of "motors", the campers designed:
Wind Racer
Short Rubber Band Racer: attaching a rubber band to the front axle, then pull the end of the rubber band to a connector on the back wheel axle; wind the back wheels 5 times; set racer to floor and release. Our second or first try we overwound and broke the rubber band!
Battery Powered Racer: several campers modified their racer by adding more motors or different types of wheels:
